2010 Bocce Ball WICK Tournament

On June 19th, PWHO took 8 teams to the MPS Wick Field Tournament in Milwaukee. The tournament gave all the teams the opportunity to compete against other teams from different agencies.

Anthony Avengers
The Anthony Avengers started the day by beating the N.S. Robins 10 to 6. In the afternoon they beat the Tosa Lobbers 10 to 1. The team was very excited to have done so well.

Bocce Ballers
The Bocce Ballers started the day with a loss to the Tosa Pitchers, 10 to 2. In their second game they played the West Benders, which was another loss 10 to 1. While the team did not win either of their games they still had a good time and were excited for the next tournament.

Bradford Beauties
The Bradford Beauties started their day with a loss to the N.S. Orioles, 10 to 2. Their second game of the day against Sweet N’ Salty was also a loss, 10 to 4. Even after suffering two losses the team was excited about how well they had played.

All Stars
The All Stars started their day with a loss to Sweet N’ Salty, 10 to 3. In their second game they lost to the Wil-O-Way Panthers 9 to 2. The All Stars remained optimistic and were ready to go home to practice more so they would be ready for the next tournament.

Sassy Steppers
The Sassy Steppers began the day with a loss to the Tosa Throwers, 11 to 0. Not wanting to give up they played the N.S. Orioles, losing to them, 11 to 3. They were excited that they were able to improve their performance from the first game even though they suffered a second loss.

Hanson Hooligans
The Hanson Hooligans suffered a loss against the Wil-O-Way Wildcats 12 to 0 in the morning. After some relaxation and regrouping they went on to play the Tosa Pitchers. They again lost but were able to better their performance losing 8 to 6.

The Busters
The Busters started the day with a loss to the Tosa Lobbers 11 to 0. In their second game they played the N.S. Robins, losing 10 to 0. Even after two losses the team was not discouraged, they had enjoyed being able to play and were looking forward to the next tournament.

Lovely Lang
Lovely Lang began the day with a loss to the Wil-O-Way Wildcats, 11 to 3. Their second game against the Wil-O-Way Panthers was also a loss 12 to 3, but this did not dampen their spirits because the team was very happy about their performance.
