Health & Community Medical Services Coordinator

Theresa came to Prader-Willi Homes of Oconomowoc in May of 2011.  She is an Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner (APNP), and took on a newly established position at PWHO in this role to enhance and coordinate all Health Services for the residents.  Theresa became a Registered Nurse in 2000 after completing her Associate's Degree in Nursing at MATC.  In 2004, Theresa received her Bachelor's of Science degree in Nursing from Concordia University where, in 2009, she also obtained her Master's of Science Degree and became a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Theresa has a passion for people.  She came from a family of nurses and knew early on that she wanted to pursue a career in nursing.

“I have found a home away from home with PWHO. The residents are eager to learn about their health, health promotions, and how their bodies work. They are a joy and pleasure to work with. I believe that everyone has a unique story and that we should always be kind to others.”

Theresa is married with two daughters. She enjoys hiking, biking, and swimming, most sports, riding motorcycles and ATV’s.  Theresa enjoys being a volunteer for Special Olympics, participates annually in the Komen Race for a Cure, and enjoys helping with the Children’s Hospital Respite Program.
