Assistant Group Home Manager for Andrew Home

Marsha began working for PWHO in June of 2006 as the Assistant Manager of Stepping Stone and within a few months, was promoted to Manager. In January of 2009, Marsha, some of the Stepping Stone residents, and staff transitioned out to Hartland and began the 9th home within the company - Bradford Home. Due to beginning the life of a student in January of 2010, Marsha took a break from management and took on the position of a Teacher’s Aide at Genesee Lake School. After a few short months, Marsha realized she missed PWHO and returned as a Residential Counselor at Andrew Home. Then, in April of 2011, Marsha accepted the position of Andrew Home’s Assistant Manager.

Marsha received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse and is currently in the process of obtaining her Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice through the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. When not working or studying, Marsha takes advantage of her free time by reading a good book, spending time with family and friends, or catching up on her sleep.

“The residents of PWHO provide me with the motivation to come to work each day; they have taught me the importance of appreciating the smaller things in life and to accept those things I cannot have. Each day is a learning experience and no two days are ever the same, thus constantly keeping me on my toes and making PWHO the work experience I will never forget.”
