Kristina came to PWHO in December of 2008 as a Residential Counselor at Stepping Stone. Immediately she felt a strong sense of belonging and knew that this is where she wanted to be. In November of 2010, Kristina was offered the Assistant Manager position and she was thrilled to accept. Kristina had been part of the exciting new transformations that took place at Stepping Stone in the beginning of 2009 and took part in making Stepping Stone’s current program what it is today. Before taking on the additional responsibilities of an Assistant Group Home Manager, Kristina could be found planning fun activities for the home, making her gourmet meals, or lending her ear and loving heart to those living at Stepping Stone Group Home.
“I always new I wanted a job with great variety. Working at PWHO offers just that. There are good days and there are bad days, but everyday day is different. When I am having a bad day, the residents can absolutely turn my day around. I love that I have been given the opportunity to do the same for them.”
Kristina has a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from the University of Wisconsin –Whitewater. In her spare time, she enjoys a good book, shopping, spending time with her friends and family, being outdoors, rollerblading, and jamming out to her favorite tunes.
