On Friday October 15th, PWSA-WI and PWSA-IL will co-host the 2010 Fall conference, Special Tricks on Treating Prader-Willi Syndrome: A Behavioral Approach. The conference will be held at the Country Springs Hotel Water Park & Conference Center in Waukesha, WI which is about 15 minutes from Oconomowoc. The conference will feature guest speaker Dr. Linda Gourash, MD, a Developmental Pediatrician and National and International Expert on Prader-Willi Syndrome. Dr. Gourash is a dynamic speaker and has years of experience in supporting individuals with PWS. Topics for the day include: “Completely Unifying, All Encompassing Theory on Prader-Willi Syndrome,” Sensory Integration & Regulation, Behavior Management Tools, and Tips and Tricks on Diet and Nutrition. A social gathering will take place the Thursday prior to the conference. Our Annual Family & Friends Picnic will be held the Saturday following the conference.
