Mallorie Mertz joined Prader-Willi Homes of Oconomowoc in 2009 with experience serving adults, adolescents, and children with an array of special needs. She graduated from The University of Iowa with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology and a minor in Educational Psychology. Mallorie continued her education at Aurora University to earn her Master of Social Work Degree with a certification in School Social Work. While attending graduate school, Mallorie completed her fieldwork in the educational system counseling and supporting general and special education students. In addition to Mallorie’s primary and secondary education experiences, she has worked with individuals with disabilities in recreational settings and respite services. Prior to coming to PWHO, Mallorie provided Applied Behavioral Analysis therapy for a child with autism.

“I thoroughly enjoy every interaction that I am able to experience with individuals with disabilities. I continue to learn from the adults with Prader-Willi syndrome and look forward to our time together.”

Mallorie was born and raised in the western suburbs of Chicago. She relocated to Wisconsin in 2009 and currently resides in the Madison area. In her spare time, Mallorie enjoys exercising and spending time outdoors, especially engaging in recreational activities during the summer months.
